DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVE:
The game of hockey is comprised of battles, which put players against each other in all situations.  This camp will prepare players with the necessary skills needed to feel confident in these game situations.
 

The Rink Training Centre's Battle & Compete Camp was developed to provide players with detailed instruction in the skills that allow players to be prepared for battles.  With this in mind the Battle & Compete program will provide players the opportunity to develop skating skills, puck skills, tactical game skills, through a focused progression on Technical and Tactical Aspects. 

Our Battle & Compete Camp is open to the following players:

                DOB:  2009 - 2005  (2 groups)

The Battle & Compete Camps are conducted out of Gateway Community Centre – 1717 Gateway Rd., Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The RINK accepts a total of 36 athletes to participate in this program.  Players should be motivated & willing to compete against other players at a high level. 

TYPICAL DAY:  8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

COACH/ATHLETE RATIO:  1:6
