DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVE:
 

This program is designed to provide skill development intangibles through realistic progressions that pertain to getting players ready to make the step to the next level in their development.

The Rink Training Centre's Battle and Compete camp was developed to provide players with detailed instruction in the foundational skills that they need to play the game at the next level.  The Battle and compete Clinic will provide players the opportunity to develop both skating skills, puck skills, tactical game skills, battle & compete skills and conditioning through a focused progression on Technical and Tactical Aspects. 

The Battle and Compete camp will be conducted out of River Heights Arena 1370 Grovsner Ave, Winnipeg, MB.  The RINK accepts a total of 18 athletes to participate in these programs. Players should be motivated & willing to compete against other players at a high level. 

PROGRAM INCLUDES:
 

5x 60 minute on-ice instruction working on:

  • Skating
  • Battle and positional skills
  • Stick handling
  • Shooting
  • Tryout prep Conditioning

MAXIMUM STUDENTS:

                18 Skaters

COACH/PLAYER RATIO: 6:1 Player ratio

STRUCTURE and SCHEDULE:

                Peewee:  5:15pm-6:15pm

                Bantam:  6:30pm – 7:30pm

                Midget:  7:45pm – 8:45pm
