“It’s not neccesarily the amount of time you spend at practice that counts; it’s what you put into the practice.”
- Eric Lindros
The Spring is a time where many professional and top-end players take time away from the ice and gym, and work on recovering their bodies…But as the game evolves players now have to work year round on their games…two such players have been hitting THE RINK ice as of late:
Michael St. Croix – Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)
Michael has been hitting The RINK ice hard with The RINK team of professionals, in prepartation for his upcoming camp in New York…Michael is a draft pick of the NHL’S New York Rangers… “Saint” just finished off a breakout season, where he scored 105 Points and won a league championship, and the Oil Kings earned a berth in the Memorial Cup…St. Croix is expected to continue developing into an “offensive Dynamo” by the time he is on Broadway. Below is a clip from an article on TSN.ca about the NEW YORK RANGERS and their future outlook, plus a picture of St. Croix and GDI Prairies Joe Caliguiri who is a well decorated goaltender, earning his keep with the University of Manitoba Bisons…
Kevin Clark – St. John’s Ice Caps (AHL)
The RINK is also proud to welcome back to the ice, old friend and former member of THE RINK TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS, St. Johns Ice Cap Forward Kevin Clark… “Clarkie” just finished his 2nd Full Professional Season with the St. John’s Ice Caps (Formaly known as the Manitoba Moose), whom are the Winnipeg Jets AHL Affiliate…Clark scored a goal in Winnipeg’s first game back on September 20, 2012 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets… The Rink is proud to have Kevin back on the ice!!
