Jack Rodewald- Orlando Solar Bears

Jack Rodewald's first full season in pro hockey has been a success thus fars. The Orlando Solar Bears forward continued his strong play this season with a great week where he registered 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 points. The Solar Bears rookie now has 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) in 37 games. Rodewald has also spent some time with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL where he appeared in 7 games this season registering 1 assist.

Jack takes part in small group sessions at The Rink.

Keegan Kolesar- Seattle Thunderbirds

Keegan Kolesar continues to be a major success story this season. The recent Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick and signee, has continued to set personal bests across the board this season with the Seattle Thunderbirds. It was another great week for Kolesar as he put up 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points. This included a hattrick on Sunday against Victoria. Keegan sits inside the top-20 in WHL scoring with 59 points (30 goals, 29 assists).

Scott Gall- Winkler Flyers

The Winkler Flyers have found themselves in the Top 20 of the CJHL rankings and a huge part of their success this season has been the success of forward Scott Gall. The 19 year old Gall had 3 goals and 1 assist this past week for 4 points. Gall currently rankings 16th in overall MJHL League Scoring with 50 points (27 goals, 23 assists). Scott is in his second season with the Flyers and has already surpassed his totals from last year.

Scott took part in the Junior Pro Group over the Summer at The Rink.

Honourable Weekly Mentions- Hayden Ostir- Spokane Chiefs (First career WHL goal) & Brendan Harms- Bemidji State Beavers (GWG in a 2-1 Victory).

Spring is a time for players to make improvements in their individual skills and develop their game. The Rink is offering weekly development programs for players looking to stay on the ice and build off the momentum of their winter season and look to go into summer!

We couldn't be more proud to announce that The Rink Hockey Academy will begin next year playing in the CSSHL! The Rink will feature a Bantam and Midget team, with students attending Shaftesbury High School.
