About Jon:

Jon has an extensive playing resume, with 2 years in the WHL with Lethbridge and Saskatoon, plus years in Portage (MJHL) and Penticton (BCHL).  
Jon returned to Winnipeg to attend the University of Manitoba where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Human Resources, while playing 4 years for the Bisons. 

Jon has worked in the hockey industry for 12 years, with the Edge of Excellence and Okanagan Hockey School in Penticton, BC, and brings a wealth of experience in Power Skating and Skill Development.

Jon is the current skating coach for the MJHL’s Steinbach Pistons.

About Addie:
Addie has an impressive resume when it comes to female hockey. Addie was scouted to the University of Manitoba Bisons where she played her entire five-year CIS career. She was named team MVP three years in a row, won two Canada West Championships and was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2012. She was selected to be a member of Team Canada in 2011 for the FISU games in Erzerum, Turkey where they won gold. Addie is currently the power skating and skills coach for the University of Manitoba Bisons.

About Mike:

Mike is a graduate from the University of Manitoba. Mike completed a Master's of Science degree with a focus in sports biomechanics while playing for the University of Manitoba men's hockey team, where he was captain for two years and represented Canada at the FISU games. Prior to university Mike played for the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL where he was captain during his final season. About Jarrett:

Jarrett played for the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) from 1998-2001. In his Rookie Season with the Terriers, Jarrett was awarded Rookie of the Year honors. In his final season Jarrett was named Captain of the Yorkton Terriers. Jarrett has a wealth of coaching experience in skill development and power skating, from his experience in hockey schools such as the Edge of Excellence. About Andy:

Andy has a lengthy playing resume, with two years in the WHL with Prince Albert and Brandon, and three years for the Vernon Vipers (BCHL). Andy returned to Winnipeg after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts at Lakehead University while playing for the Thunderwolves. After University Andy played a year of minor pro with the Missouri Mavericks and Dayton Gems (CHL). Andy has worked in the hockey industry for 10 years and is currently an associate coach of the 07' Winnipeg Jr. Jets and Peewee AA Fort Garry Twins.

Graham played for the Pembina Valley Twisters of the MMJHL for four years, and then attended Kennesaw State University on a hockey scholarship. He returned to his hometown of Morden two years ago, then transitioned into coaching, and developing as a skills coach. About Shea:

Shea has a hockey background starting from the very young age of five and has competed in the highest levels in Manitoba since. She was a member of the Interlake AAA program at the Midget level, and then went on to play at Balmoral Hall Prep School as part of the Junior Women's Hockey League. Shea then decided to finish her playing career in the St. Mary's Academy Prep Program from which she graduated in 2016. Shea is currently a student at the University of Manitoba studying microbiology.

About Ian:

Ian has an extensive playing resume, 5 years in the WHL finishing in Kelowna with a league championship. Attended Columbus blue jackets main camp as a free agent in 09'-10'. Went on to play 5 years at the university of Manitoba, leading to pro hockey in Wichita,KS in the ECHL. He has been involved with skill development and power skating with the rink since Feb 2016 and is now the assistant coach with our RHA NATIONALS midget team.

About Sean:

Sean began his hockey career with the Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) in 2002. He played there for four years before accepting a hockey scholarship to the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. In River Falls, Sean played for four years before graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then moved back to Winnipeg to attend the University of Manitoba where he is currently pursuing an Education degree. Sean has been involved in coaching spring hockey with numerous teams as well as being an instructor for five years at the Impact Hockey School in Brandon, Manitoba. Sean brings his past experience and hockey knowledge to help players succeed.

About Venla:

Venla is originally from Tampere, Finland where she started her hockey career at four years old. At the age of 14 made her debut in the national Finnish Women's league playing for Ilves, Tampere. Venla' s explosive speed and hard work ethic was soon noticed and she was chosen to try out for the Finnish women's National team. Venla has been part of the Finnish National team since 2007 and is a two time olympian participating in the Vancouver and Sochi olympics. Her career highlight is winning a bronze medal in the Vancouver Olympics 2010 where she helped the team with two goals. In addition, she has also won three championships in the Finnish national league 2006, 2010, 2011 and two bronze medals in World Championships 2008, 2009. Currently Venla is playing for University of Manitoba Bisons where she leads the team by example and with experience. She' s also training for the 2018 Olympics and wants to apply her international hockey experience into coaching to share her passion and help girls to achieve their best potential.

About Stephanie:

Stephanie has played the past four years as a goaltender in the MWJHL for the Western Predators. She has been part of The RINK and GDI development team for three years, where she has aided in the development of many young players and goalies. Steph is currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba. Steph is a great asset to The RINK team because of her experience and involvement with all areas of the company including our Learn to Skate Programs, Player Development, and Goalie Development.

About Taylor:

Taylor is one of our newest additions here at The RINK training center. Taylor brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience having played with St. Marys Academy as well as the U-18 Jr. Bisons AAA. She is a team leader with Hockey Manitoba and has worked along side Female director Addie Miles at The Miles female hockey day. Taylor currently attends University of Manitoba where she plans to major in Kinesiology.

About Harley:

Harley played minor hockey for the APHA Rangers for several years. Harley continued his playing career with the Kelvin Klipper where he won such awards as The Travis Price Spirit Award, Coaches choice award and MVP. Currently, Harley plays with Fort Garry Twins of the MMJHL where he is Assistant Captain. Harley is studying at the University of Manitoba earning his Bachelor of Environmental Studies. About George:

George played three years of Jr. “A” hockey in Ontario as well as High school hockey for The St. Pauls Crusaders where he won a city championship in 2013. About Kayden:

Kayden brings a wealth of playing experience and knowledge to The RINK team. He played 3 years with the St. Pauls Crusaders and in his final year he was named team captain. After high school Kayden joined the Winkler flyers for 2 seasons where he was named assistant captain in his final year. Kayden has won the city and provincial championship with St. Pauls and was named rookie of the year with the Winkler Flyers.
