Puck Control Hockey Camps

Development Camps | Ages 7-8
The Development Puck Control Camp is designed to develop players’ abilities to control the puck in a variety of game-like situations. This camp creates confidence in players’ abilities to control their stick properly through learning about stick etiquette, full control of their top and bottom hands, puck control at top speed, and creativity while working on their stickhandling technique.
The Puck Control Camp takes a focused approach on fundamental progression and repetition to ensure players develop good habits, while having fun.
Also, introducing our “ITA” – In Tight Attacking program. Using devices we call “danglers”, players will be challenged to use new techniques within our ITA curriculum. Skills ranging from puck spotting, puck protection, puck control in tight areas and more!
Mastery Keys
Stick etiquette (the jobs of both top and bottom hands)
Ability to guide the puck at full speed
Skating techniques for stickhandling (heel/toe)

Advanced Camps | Ages 9-10
The Advanced Puck Control Camp is designed to build upon skaters’ abilities to control the puck in a variety of game-like situations. This camp creates confidence in players to be able to carry the puck at full speed on both sides of their body. Skaters will be challenged to get comfortable controlling the puck in all three positions around their body (forehand, backhand, and mid-body) and be able to make a play from all three positions.
Our coaching staff will introduce weight awareness while stickhandling to maximize total puck control. The Puck Control camp takes a focused approach building on fundamental progression and repetition to ensure players develop good habits.

The High Performance Puck Control Camp is designed to build upon skaters’ abilities to control the puck in a variety of game-like situations. This camp creates confidence in players to be able to carry the puck at full speed and they will be challenged to get comfortable controlling the puck in all three positions around their body (forehand, backhand, and mid-body) and be able to make a play from all three positions.
