RINK's Spring Programs kick off this week with an absolutely jam packed schedule of skill development sessions for hockey players in U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15. Spring programs typically run for 12 weeks through the months of April to June and are designed to help players improve their game in a fun and supportive environment.

The theme this spring is Skills to Game. The thought behind Skills to Game is every program is set up to maximize your ability to learn on the ice with us and apply it to game-like scenarios. Each program is curated with a skill-specific focus allowing you to double-down on your strengths or improve your ability and gain an advantage in your competitive performance.

Led by our experienced coaches and trainers, many of whom are former high-level players themselves, we provide valuable knowledge and guidance to young players no matter where they are at in their skill development journey. All RINK spring programs will be taking place on our Training Sheet (With the exception of our Position Specific Defense Program) which is what made RINK a favoured training spot since its inception in 2009. The to-scale, 60 x 120 ft ice surface, is the perfect place to hone your skills as an up and coming player.

RINK Kelowna

RINK Kelowna will also see a busy spring with winter hockey now over. We have a variety of programs this year depending on what age group you fall into. We have a U11 Advanced Skating & Skills, U13 High Performance Puck Skills, and U18 Elite 3 on 3 all running out of Winfield Arena.

RINK North (Seven Oaks Arena)

Seven Oaks Arena will be home to a Skating & Skills program for all three of our core age groups at U9 Development, U11 Advanced, and U13 High Performance. With a consistent presence of some of RINK's top level coaches, we are happy to continue offering skill development on the north side of Winnipeg.

Overall, we are incredibly excited to get things going this Spring and help foster young players love for the game and improve their skills in a fun and social environment. It is programs like ours that players/goalies often develop close friendships with their teammates and coaches, which can lead to lifelong connections in the hockey community.
