About RINK
RINK started out as an idea to improve hockey development for kids and junior players in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The founders saw an opportunity to open a private training facility focusing solely on hockey players.
RINK opened its doors on Lowson Crescent in the summer of 2009. RINK’s philosophy was created with the small ice for focused skill development and a unique approach to training. RINK Training Centre’s relocation to its new facility at 57 South Landing Drive in April 2019, with state-of-the-art facilities, provides RINK the enhanced ability to continue to provide the most innovative and professionally run programs.
Since RINK’s inception, the company has grown to be the leaders in training in Manitoba. RINK Training Centre has continued to raise the bar for setting the standard of excellence in service offering for athletes of all ages. The acquisition of RHA Kelowna (formerly Pursuit of Excellence) will allow us to build upon a comprehensive, existing program to grow and deliver our world-class experience to athletes of Kelowna.

Our Story
RINK Training Centre is a Winnipeg, Manitoba based company founded by local investors and hockey enthusiasts. The company owns and operates the Rink Training Centre, Testify Performance, and Rink Hockey Academy (CSSHL) with locations in Winnipeg, MB and Kelowna, BC. The RINK Training Centre has long stood for a comprehensive approach to player development with a strong emphasis on the technical, psychological, and physiological dimensions of the game. Our team of dedicated professionals at the RINK are committed to helping our athletes grow from the player they are, to the player they are meant to be. Since RINK’s inception, the company has grown to be the leaders in training and continues to raise the bar for the standard of excellence in service for athletes of all ages in an environment where exceptional performance has no limit.

Head Coach
RINK Hockey Academy, Winnipeg is looking for a Head Coach.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a Head Coach who is passionate about hockey, and delivering a premier program experience both on and off the ice to our student athletes. Our coaching staff works full-time to create a positive and progressive environment to help our athletes reach their full potential on the ice, off the ice and in the classroom.
Key Attributes We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a professional coaching environment with youth in AAA, Junior, College etc.
- Extensive playing experience
- Successful completion HP1 or higher and Respect in Sport
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skillset with a proven ability to communicate effectively with both players and families
- A positive, professional and approachable character, fostering relationships with student athletes, families, co-workers, and post-secondary institutions.

- Develop and implement a Technical, Tactical and Systems plan for your team
- Lead with player evaluations of your team in a subjective, honest, and fair manner
- Liaise with off-ice team to support training and rehabilitation efforts for student athletes
- Foster the growth of family relationships with constant communication
- Liaise with supporting programs and service providers such as school(s) and billet coordinator(s)

RINK Training Centre
Figure Skating Program Coordinator
RINK Training Centre is seeking a part-time permanent CanSkate Head Coach, based at our 57 South Landing Drive location in Oak Bluff.
Who We're Looking For:
Reporting to the Figure Skating Program Coordinator, you’ll support the growth, development and delivery of our CanSkate programming in a professional manner, ensuring the comprehensive standards of RINK programming are executed with each session.
Key Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With:
- Lead on ice CanSkate sessions with assistance from Figure Skating Program Coordinator.
- Assist with coordinating programming details for CanSkate sessions (theme days/showcase days/assessment days)
- Assisting with monitoring of skill development of all skaters.
- Responsible for proper set up and clean-up of all sessions
- Responsible for giving direction and assistance to program assistant
- Brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every session while communicating with skaters, parents, and other coaches
- Available Saturdays and Sundays in July and August.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- Be at a minimum, a Skate Canada Certified CanSkate Coach or higher
- Be a Skate Canada registered coach in good standing
- Show proof of coach dashboard in good standing
- 3-5 Years coaching experience
- Familiar and able to deliver Skate Canada’s CanSkate program
- Ability to function and contribute effectively to a team environment
- Clear Child Abuse Registry search and Police record Check

RINK Training Centre
Zamboni Driver/Facility Operator
RINK Training Centre is looking for full-time Zamboni Drivers/Facility Operators at our 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff location.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing an exceptional facility experience our valued clients. You’ll work collaboratively as a team with other facility operators and coordinators to provide our clients a consistent, premium experience.
Key Attributes we are looking for:
- Minimum two years of ice maintenance experience

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain superior quality of multiple ice surfaces, operating the Zamboni, maintain impeccable condition of boards, glass, nets, benches, change rooms, walkways and observation areas surrounding the ice surfaces
- Follow stringent cleaning schedule for areas surrounding ice surfaces, change rooms and other areas as assigned
- Monitoring of facility equipment to ensure operation in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to manufacturers specifications and in accordance with the building codes, laws and regulations
- Assist with maintenance of refrigeration equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural and grounds repair including lawn cutting, sweeping and snow removal
- Ability to take immediate and decisive action in plant shutdowns or equipment failures
- Maintaining accurate records and logs of equipment readings and maintenance

RINK Kelowna
Class 4 Driver
RINK Kelowna is looking for a Class 4 Driver to safely and professionally deliver our student athletes to multiple locations, adhering to pre-determined routes and stringent timelines.
Who We're Looking For:
An experienced Class 4 driver who believes professionalism and safety create a positive experience for our athletes. Key Attributes we are looking for:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Valid Class 4 License, with a minimum of 1 year driving experience
- Project a professional presence, providing outstanding service
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional attitude during high pressure situations

What you’ll Do:
- Professionally drive and operate vans, committing to the safe transport of our valued student athletes
