About RINK
RINK started out as an idea to improve hockey development for kids and junior players in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The founders saw an opportunity to open a private training facility focusing solely on hockey players.
RINK opened its doors on Lowson Crescent in the summer of 2009. RINK’s philosophy was created with the small ice for focused skill development and a unique approach to training. RINK Training Centre’s relocation to its new facility at 57 South Landing Drive in April 2019, with state-of-the-art facilities, provides RINK the enhanced ability to continue to provide the most innovative and professionally run programs.
Since RINK’s inception, the company has grown to be the leaders in training in Manitoba. RINK Training Centre has continued to raise the bar for setting the standard of excellence in service offering for athletes of all ages. The acquisition of RHA Kelowna (formerly Pursuit of Excellence) will allow us to build upon a comprehensive, existing program to grow and deliver our world-class experience to athletes of Kelowna.

Our Story
RINK Training Centre is a Winnipeg, Manitoba based company founded by local investors and hockey enthusiasts. The company owns and operates the Rink Training Centre, Testify Performance, and Rink Hockey Academy (CSSHL) with locations in Winnipeg, MB and Kelowna, BC. The RINK Training Centre has long stood for a comprehensive approach to player development with a strong emphasis on the technical, psychological, and physiological dimensions of the game. Our team of dedicated professionals at the RINK are committed to helping our athletes grow from the player they are, to the player they are meant to be. Since RINK’s inception, the company has grown to be the leaders in training and continues to raise the bar for the standard of excellence in service for athletes of all ages in an environment where exceptional performance has no limit.

RINK Kelowna
Class 4 Driver
RINK Training Centre Kelowna is looking for a part-time Class 4 Driver to safely and professionally deliver our student athletes to multiple locations, adhering to pre-determined routes and stringent timelines.
Who We’re Looking For:
An experienced Class 4 driver who believes professionalism and safety create a positive experience for our athletes.
Key Attributes we are looking for:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Valid Class 4 License (24 passenger), with a minimum of 1 year driving experience
- Availability morning and later afternoon
- Project a professional presence, providing outstanding service
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional attitude during high pressure situations
- Proof of clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check, prior to start date
What You’ll Do:
- Professionally drive and operate vans, committing to the safe transport of our valued student athletes
- Execute safe operation of van(s), following strict route and safety guidelines at all times
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Reporting deficiencies immediately
- Maintain accurate logs as required
- Ability to adhere to route and timelines as dictated
Start Date: October 2nd, 2023. This is a term position, ending March, 2024
Pay: $25.00-$35.00/hour, based on experience

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna
Athletic Therapist
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna is looking for an Athletic Therapist to work with our six CSSHL Hockey Academy Teams in Kelowna, BC.
Who We’re Looking For:
An individual who is passionate about personal, professional, and organizational progress. Someone who enjoys the challenge of a growth-focused, fast-paced environment and thrives in a team setting.
Key Attributes we are looking for
• Athletic Therapists in good standing with the Athletic Therapist Association of BC (ATABC)
• Someone who has a passion for athletic therapy and its role in a team setting
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Conducts themselves with professionalism and integrity but has fun doing it
• The ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, coaches, players, and clients
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the initial intake process for all RHA Players
• Responsible to execute assessment and reconditioning plans for all RHA players
• Educating/reviewing patient exercises with the designated rehab-aide.
• Participating in the general administration of clinic services.
• Complete patient/Dr. letters.
• Develop, oversee, and execute the Emergency Action Plan for all on-ice and off-ice
• Responsible for maximizing the operational efficiencies through appropriate scheduling for all TEAMS events.

Testify Performance
Registered Massage Therapist
Testify Performance, a division of RINK, is looking for Registered Massage Therapists. Therapists will work out of our 57 South Landing Dr location within the RINK Training Centre and our 1500 Taylor Ave location within Taylor Tennis Centre.

- Massage Therapist in good standing with MTAM
- Someone who has a passion for massage therapy and its role in sports and general population

- Contribute to the quality of product delivered in the clinic.
- Provide support and coordination with Off-ice, On-ice, and Teams.

- Participating in the general administration of RMT
- Responsible to execute assessment and treatment for all clientele.

RINK Training Centre
Customer Service Associate (CSA)
RINK is seeking a consistent day, evening and weekend Customer Service Associate to provide outstanding service and sales to our valued customers.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel, Customer Service and Direct Sales is required. Experience in hockey, specifically in the realm of development is a definite asset in order to best serve our customers. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

- Provide exemplary service to our patrons
- Support the sales process by helping our clients understand and enroll in our programming

- Maintain a perpetual awareness of all programming
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing (ie: check in sheets)
- Assisting in organizing, cleaning and maintaining common areas
- Assisting with retail sales
- Assisting with visitor/client reception
- Creating, maintaining and entering information into databases (ie: EZ Facility)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed
- Contributes to team effort by documenting and communicating actions and needs
The hours for this position will be comprised of days, evenings and weekends.

RINK Player Development Coach
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist on ice sessions
- Fostering growth and development in players’ skills and abilities
- Observe and evaluate players’ on-going progress
- Promotion and sales of programming
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive hockey background as a player
- Previous coaching experience as well as certification an asset
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be comfortable and enjoy working with a wide range of ages and varied skills and abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to present a clear Police Information Check

RINK Testify Performance is looking for Physiotherapists to work at our 57 South Landing Drive location in Oak Bluff and our Taylor Tennis location. This is a commission-based position, ranging from 50-60%.

RINK Testify Performance, Winnipeg is looking for both full-time and part-time Performance Coaches to serve multiple Winnipeg locations.
