Pro Shop Attendant & Skate Sharpener

Location: RINK Training Centre located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

Who We're Looking For:

Are you passionate about hockey and skilled in skate sharpening? At RINK Training Centre, located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff we’re looking for a dedicated Pro Shop Attendant and Skate Sharpener to be an integral part of our team, ensuring top-tier service for every customer who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide expert skate sharpening and profiling to keep players at the top of their game.
• Perform equipment repairs to maintain peak performance.
• Assist with inventory counts to keep stock organized.
• Keep our retail space clean, visually appealing, and well-stocked for an inviting customer experience.
• Deliver exceptional service, both on the retail floor and at the sharpening station.
• Process payment transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace in both the retail and sharpening areas.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least one year of experience in skate sharpening—precision matters!
• Strong knowledge of hockey equipment and what players need to perform at their best.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• A customer-focused mindset, ensuring every visitor receives top-quality service.
• Comfort with tools and power tools, making equipment maintenance seamless.

Human Resources Coordinator

Location: RINK Training Centre located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

Who We're Looking For:

An individual who is passionate about marketing, you’ll work collaboratively with our Marketing & Communications team to drive engagement and elevate our brand.

Key Attributes We're Looking For:

• Support the employee management process, including compliance tracking, maintaining accurate employee files and records
• Support the recruitment process by posting available jobs, producing offers, agreements and following through with onboarding & integration practices
• Support the maintenance and accuracy of job descriptions across all departments and locations
• Support the administration of benefits programs, inclusive of initial applications and data maintenance
• Support the collection and compiling of employee quarterly coaching sessions and annual reviews

What You'll Do:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and organization
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of the English language; administrative or executive level writing/communication skills
• Willingness to take direction and feedback
• Comfort using various software systems such as Payworks.

• Completion of an accredited diploma program in human resources

RINK Player Development Coach

Who We're Looking For:

RINK is looking for highly skilled on-ice coaches that will support the development of RINK year-round programs in the Winnipeg and surrounding area.

If you’re right for RINK, you’ll have the following:

• Ability to support a sustainable, high-performance model that is athlete-centered, coach driven, and sport science supported.
• A comprehensive understanding and proven history of driving innovation in the operations that emphasizes an outstanding athlete experience.
• Leadership and management skills with the ability to work within a team environment to guide, lead, collaborate and mentor junior staff and coaches.
• Extensive player and coaching experience at a high-performance level.
• Ability to work with athletes of all ages.
• Proficient abilities with Office 365 applications.
• Proof of clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check.

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to curriculum advancements, ensuring the delivery of RINK programming is always leading in industry development.
• Deliver exceptional client care by responding to program inquiries and maximizing program recruitment, enrolment, and retention strategies.  
• Lead/Assist In-Centre and Satellite on ice sessions, inclusive of all levels and program offerings throughout the year. Scheduling of said programming will involve participation in days, evenings and weekends as required.

• Help clients understand and enroll in RINK’s programming, supporting the sales process
• Manage calls and emails across all RINK departments
• Stay up to date on all programming and services to assist clients effectively
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining documents, check-in sheets, and databases (e.g., EZ Facility)
• Contribute to the overall upkeep and organization of common areas
• Assist with retail sales and customer interactions in our store
• Work as part of a collaborative team to meet both customer and organizational needs

Testify Performance

Who We’re Looking For:

• Someone who holds a passion for strength and conditioning and the science that supports it

• Strong organizational skills and experience with creating strength & conditioning plans, plan adaptations, to promote an integrated, results driven training experience 
• CSCS or similar an asset

• Develop, plan and execute performance sessions
