RINK is thrilled to offer a diverse group of camps this summer at Gateway Recreation Centre. Players will have the option take a Skills to Game Camp or EDGE Power Skating Camp. The Skills to Game Camp strikes a perfect balance between skill development and small area games. A staple at Gateway for over 10 years, the EDGE Power Skating Camp is RINK's most comprehensive skating curriculum featuring live video review on ice, figure skating session, take home video breaking down your stride, and multi-sport components all jam-packed into a fun camp environment.

2025 Goalie Camps
Gateway Icebreaker Goalie Camp
RINK Goalie Summer Camps have become a staple for goalies during the off-season and heading into their tryouts. The Icebreaker Camp is for goalies looking to shake off the rust as they start preparation for the season ahead. Goalies will focus on improving their fundamentals and preparing for game situations through a variety of drills. The aspects that goalies will work on will be Position Specific Movement, Puck Tracking, Rebound Control, Rush Management, Net Play, Puck Handling and more.
Goalie Skills to Game Combo Camps
RINK'S Skills to Game Combo Camp is a way for goalies to work on both technical and tactical aspects of their game. Goalies first on-ice session of everyday will start with a goalie coach providing dedicated feedback on refining your techniques while their second session they will get to implement their technique in drills and a variety of small area games.
Goalie EDGE Power Skating Combo Camps
Ran in unison with the EDGE Power Skating Camp for Players, the Goalie EDGE Power Skating Camp is specifically designed for goalies to work on position-specific skating techniques with a dedicated RINK Goalie Development coach. Goalies will focus on skating and puck handling ability that challenges goalies outside of normal positional demands. PEPP stands for: Powerskating, Position-specific movement, Edgework, and Puck-handling. Goalies will work on c-cuts, T-pushes, shuffles, balance & edges and many more skating techniques over the course of the week while also getting reps in net during drill portions of the player camp.
