It’s about grit, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the game. From early morning to relentless practices, every shift, shot and moment on the ice is earned. The next time you see your favourite player under the bright lights, remember to countless hours they put in when no one is watching.
Seth Jarvis - Carolina Hurricanes
Seth has been with RINK since our doors opened in 2011. Jarvy joined the RINK Hockey Academy in our inaugural 2016-17 season on U15 Prep team and quickly advanced to U18 Prep. Drafted to the Portland Winterhawks in 2017, taken in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft to the Carolina Hurricanes, to entering his 4th season with Carolina this year, Jarv has the career many young players dream of.
Everyone at our facility has a close connection to Seth and his career. Many have known and trained him since he was 14 years old and they have witnessed each milestone. Seth will forever be a part of the foundation of the RINK and a success story that comes up often when talking to the young players that pass through our doors day in and day out.
Keegan Kolesar - Vegas Golden Knights
One of our resident Golden Knights and easily one of, if not, the longest-standing RINK client. Keegan was in some of our earliest group training sessions from when he was 12 years old. Our coaches recall him being drafted in the WHL in 2012, his professional debut in 2019 and of course winning the Stanley Cup in 2023.
Keegan is one of the first RINK clients, training with us in some of our first years of operation. He is another athlete our coaching staff can recall hitting the ice with as a teenager to watching him win his first Stanley Cup last year with the Vegas Golden Knights.
London Hoilett - Vancouver Giants (Voiceover)
London Hoilett is heading into his third WHL season as a forward with the Vancouver Giants. He spends his summers training alongside his peers in the R1 Junior Program and is a RHA Alum from 2019-2022.
London has helped our marketing team in past projects (Prove Yourself) and lent his voice and much-needed style to this project. Alongside putting up points with the Vancouver Giants, London has a budding music career on the side (@TyKiddoMusic) and he is always down to get in the creative trenches with us. London lent his talent to us in providing athletic insight when writing the script – we wanted to speak from the athletes' perspective in the video, hopefully connecting with young hockey players looking up to the next level.
