Body Checking Camp
For Players born in 2010-2011-2012 | Ages 11-13
Body Checking Camp // March 25th - 28th
The Spring Break Body Checking Camp will take a foundational approach to teaching players the art of taking and giving a body check. Players will learn proper body position and stick position in order to use their body affectively to steal pucks, angle players and deliver a proper body check.
The body checking camp will be an 8 ice time progression moving through topics as:
- Stick Steals & Body Position
- Small Area Angling
- Open Ice Angling & Tracking
- The Art of Checking
- Puck Protection & Board Battles
